PIB Yacht Club Open This Winter
For the first time in the history of the organization, the Put-in-Bay Yacht Club will be open over the winter! The bar and galley-or “kitchen” to the landlubbers out there—are open 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays with a break over Christmas & New Year weeks. Hours will extend for special events (football, euchre, etc.). The galley is open to the public and PIBYC welcomes everyone to come down, but one must be a member to purchase alcohol. Also, PIBYC is going cashless this winter. Bring your credit card!
PIBYC’s chef, Dave McNew, is planning weekly specials (think comfort food, soups & family faves) as well as a regular menu with appetizers and member favorites like the PIBYC pub burger, cheesesteak, and grilled cheese as well as a 12-in. pizza.
PIBYC is currently running a Rolling Raffle where one lucky winner wins $50 each week through July 16. Numbers can win more than once so buy a ticket now to maximize your chances of winning. To purchase a ticket, see the winter menu, or to apply for membership, go to PIBYC.org. Or come down to the club and apply while enjoying some of Chef Dave’s fabulous fare. PIBYC is excited to have this opportunity to serve the island community! Weekly information is sent out to members and posted to the club Facebook page.
