About the Lake Erie Islands Historical Society
The Auction for History is an annual auction that benefits the Lake Erie Islands Historical Society Museum and begins at 6:30 PM. The Lake Erie Islands Historical Society Museum is a pillar in the community. This museum shares Put-in-Bay’s rich history with locals and visitors alike. The society focuses on the island’s history, maritime history, and the legacy of Victorian history.
Originally founded in 1975, the Lake Erie Historical Society’s mission is to preserve and educate. The society hosts tours, lectures, and seasonal events on Put-in-Bay. This is possible with donations and events like the Auction for History. This amazing museum is open daily during spring, summer, and fall. It is situated right next to the historic Put-in-Bay Townhall.
Auction for History
This auction will display a very large selection of items donated by businesses all over Ohio. Viewing of the items for auction begins at 4:00 PM. Please note that Bidders can preview live auction items and bid on silent auction items Thursday night, at 4:00 PM. at the auction site. The auction will be held at the auction site.
