Located at Perry’s Cave Family Fun Center, Fort aMaze’n is Put-In-Bay’s premiere giant maze challenge. At the beginning of this brain-teasing attraction, participants are given a passport stamped with their start time, then they are let loose in this larger than life maze. They race against the clock and collect unique passport stamps, marking their progress while exploring twists and turns on a mission for the elusive exit. Try to beat your own time, work together as a team, or challenge those brave enough to challenge your navigational prowess. With that said, there are friendly staffers available at all times in case anyone gets stuck in the winding paths of this crafty maze.
This is definitely a family-friendly attraction that can be enjoyed by any guest. Additionally, if one of the group members desires to take advantage of the discounted additional attempts at Fort aMaze’n, there’s a variety of awesome things to experience on-site while giving the maze another shot.

Once you’ve given the giant maze a try, you’ll likely be ready to grab a quick bite before tackling the rest of the attractions with some aMAZE’n grub. DanDee’s Snack Shack is on-site for all of your snacking needs. Nothing says, “I just slayed a giant maze in record time!” like mac & cheese bites, funnel fries, and an ice-cold soda. They also offer traditional selections such as burgers, hot dogs, and BLTs.

Ashley A: “There’s so much to do here. We always visit when we’re in Put in Bay. Perry’s has so much to do. Our favorites are definitely the cave and butterfly house. There’s also a maze, a climbing wall, gem mining, and a small antique car building. If you’re looking for activities while on the island then you definitely want to stop here.”

We did the Cave tour for the first and it is almost like something you would see out of a movie. Everything here is very affordable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Always love visiting while on Put in Bay.”

Adam K: “This place is fantastic. Rent a golf cart and head straight to Perry’s Cave. The miniature golf course is top-notch. I would never have imagined how much I would have enjoyed the Butterfly Building. Do not skip this. it is beautiful and totally worth the money. Oh, and the maze is surprisingly difficult. Overall it’s a great experience.”
