St. Patrick’s Day at The Bay

Cross the Lake Erie ice this St. Patrick’s Day and have some pre-season fun at Put-in-Bay! Join the island locals for an Irish inspired day of partying. Wear your four-leaf clovers, grab your green goodies, and get ready to celebrate the Luck O’ The Irish with a pinch of island inspiration. Canada might be closest but on St. Patrick’s Day, we are all Irish!

Did you know? Put-in-Bay actually has over 480 full-time residents! With that said, our tourist season starts April 1st. If you come in the off-season there is still plenty of perch and walleye ice fishing for everyone.

St. Patrick’s Day at The Bay Festivities

With the season not quite open, we are getting a head start on the partying on St. Patrick’s Day at the Bay. Make sure you know where to go for fun! Hooligans will be open for business and ready to host all you lucky ‘Irish’ patrons. Due to seasonal restrictions, they will only have their outdoor area, and you are encouraged to BYOB! Put-in-Bay Ohio has an airport that services smaller aircraft fleets. These aircraft can transport 1 – 15 people depending on what is available. You can also reach the island by airboat. These fun air/watercraft quickly glide you and your crew across the water and the ice. However highly discouraged, some folks drive four-wheelers across the ice when the ice is stable and the conditions are right.
