Nestled right in the heart of all the action of Put-in-Bay is its historic Round House Bar. This unique building is steeped in tradition and is home to buckets of beer and some great island entertainment. It is a longtime staple of island visitors who know how to have a good time.
A Bar with a Lot of History
The 140-year-old building, now adorned with a red, white and blue flag, bears a telltale neon “Whiskey” sign that invites visitors through its doors to enjoy all of the excitement the bar has to offer. Throughout the peak season, the stage inside the Round House is occupied by exciting and talented performers. Visitors come into the Round House Bar, grab a bucket of beer and kick back for some serious fun.
One notable act who has graced the Round House Bar’s stage for more than 35 years is Mike “Mad Dog” Adams. With a unique performance comprised of energetic comedy and head-boppin’ music, Mad Dog always draws a crowd — especially for “Perch Church.”
