You won’t be able to find this popular establishment on the main downtown Put-in-Bay, Ohio strip, however. Like most of the best dive bars, you have to go on a bit of an adventure to find them. Grab a moped, bicycle, golf cart or take a nice stroll down to Catawba Avenue to find this hopping local hangout. They are located in the historic Doller press house, best known for once pressing grapes and making wine back in the good ole’ days of Put-in-Bay past. Joe’s has kept the charm and history of the old building while also improving the atmosphere with good food, great drinks, and fun weekly entertainment.

• Sloppy Joe’s Dip: Try this delicious Joe’s signature dish with their housemade Sloppy Scotty Sauce, topped with melted cheese. Served with Grilled Pita Bread.

Great selection of bottled beer and strong mixed drinks. The first day we went in on Monday at 4 pm and they had the best live music. Just one guy singing and playing guitar but he was awesome.
