Tracey B: “Had great early dinner at the upstairs restaurant. Enjoyed the lobster bisque, very thick, rich and full of lobster. Also had king crab legs that were very meaty and tasty. Had a cosmo (very nice not too sweet) a Bombay gin martini(mixed to perfection) a lime margarita (order it on the rocks not frozen, too thick to sip thru straw) . All in all good experience including a great view watching the boats come and go. Was able to park our golf cart right up by the door. Had not been here in over 10 years and was not disappointed.”
Hadyn F: “This was such an awesome place to grab a bite to eat. The service was great and the restaurant was huge! Plenty of room for big groups. There’s also a lot of outdoor seating where you can take in the view of the water and sounds of passing boats and other Put-in-Bay attractions! I had the Lobster Poutine and it was to die for! Highly recommend it! Their mozzarella sticks we’re also very good!”
Kim H: “No trip to Put In Bay is complete without a meal at the Boardwalk. Even though it looked really busy when we walked in the restaurant, we were seated outside on the patio within about 5 minutes. The food is great, as well as the drinks. Adult beverages are served in plastic cups, which once you’re done drinking can be a pain if it’s windy and the waitress is a bit busy. Cups and straws blowing around isn’t fun, but not a huge deal. Worth visiting!”
Timberly H: “Just order the lobster bisque, unless you want some other seafood, and even then order bisque as app…best I’ve ever had!! Busy place and waiting for food is to be expected..seating plentiful, servers friendly. Several large groups and families were around. Nice atmosphere close to lake. Enjoyed for a nice leisure lunch.”
There are so many tasty dining options at the Boardwalk Restaurant. One trip won’t be enough to cover all the bases. Check us out on your next visit to Put-in-Bay!
