4-person cart: $70/day weekdays, $160 for the weekend
6-person cart: $90/day weekdays, $200 for the weekend

As you would expect about for a 3 square mile island, space is at a premium at Put-in-Bay. Parking especially has the potential to cause a lot of problems. The rather unique solution that Put-in-Bay has come up with is to rely primarily on golf carts for transportation. While the space-saving makes this very practical, it also adds an incredible charm for visitors renters. There are quite a few golf cart rental places in downtown Put-in-Bay by the Jet Express. This includes Put-in-Bay Golf Cart Depot. There are a few golf cart rental agencies that are stationed near the Miller Ferry dock, but the best 4 and 6 person golf carts on the island, at the best rental rates? Those are reserved for Put-in-Bay lodging guests of the Island Club Put-in-Bay Condos! These aren’t the typical club car electric carts you can get downtown. This a fleet of brand-new, Yamaha golf carts that will have everyone else looking at you with envy in their beat-up old carts. In addition to 4- and 6-person EZ-Go golf carts, Island Club Rentals is one of the only places on the island with 8 passenger golf carts! All Island Club carts are equipped with seat belts, turn signals, and taillights.
8 person golf carts run out quickly so be sure to call ahead, we are one rental agency that has them, and there are only a couple others. All of our carts are overnight rentals, and guests can do a day rental, but we do not do hourly.
Rules For Put-in-Bay Golf Cart Rentals
These rules likely apply to every rental agency on South Bass Island, but they definitely apply to Island Club rentals.
-18 years of age to rent, 16 years of age to drive, provided you have a valid driver’s license.
-Obey all traffic laws just as on the mainland, Put-in-Bay overnight golf cart rentals are licensed motor vehicles.
-Absolutely NO DRINKING AND DRIVING. The Put-in-Bay PD can, will, and does give DUI’s to inebriated cart operators. Don’t risk it, leave your cart parked where it is and call a Put-in-Bay island taxi to get you back to your Put-in-Bay hotels.
