Kelley’s Island
FOR SALE: A Turnkey Waterfront Resort on Kelleys Island
The Adventure Island Resort is for sale. This is a rare opportunity for an investor or hospitality group to acquire a performing asset in a high-demand vacation location. The foundation is solid, the reputation is strong, and the room for growth is significant. This isn’t a fixer-upper or a startup concept. It’s a thriving business waiting for new ownership to steer it into its next chapter of success. Ask your favorite Realtor about this opportunity.
Cindra & Jeni Swim To Kelleys For Make-A-Wish!
Cindra Mielke & Jeni Hammond will be swimming to Kelleys Island for the 31st time to raise money to grant wishes for Make-A-Wish kids. This year, they will swim from Carpenters Point to the Casino Marina Dock on Kelleys Island, Sunday, August 3rd. The golf cart poker run is back Saturday, August 2nd from 9-11 a.m., with registration at The Caddy Shack, ending at Kelleys Island Winery at 3 p.m. Cost is $10/hand, with no limit to the number of hands. Raffles and baskets will be on display as well with chances to win some pretty awesome prizes.
All of the money raised will go to the kids to make their wishes come true, including Vanessa, who is 16. She has bone cancer and wishes to go to Hawaii; and Lila, who is 12 and has a seizure disorder, wishes to go to Disney World.
Each wish usually costs around $10,000 to grant. Last year, Cindra and Jeni raised over $51,000, enough for FIVE wishes, and they hope to raise even more this year!
Be part of the emotional experience as Make-A-Wish kids and their families gather at Portside Marina after the swim to cheer Cindra and Jeni onto shore.
